Customers can generate thousands of sales leads through this one-stop shop full of opt-in data that may include fields such as company history, key staff contacts, and valuable company profile data. Some products are even available for free. | Our DataJoe software gives business journals and trade publications the ability to create and manage business listings and directories. Our all-inclusive system gives publications the ability to survey, manage, export and sell data online through their Web site. Archiving articles and public records? Our system can do that, too. Where We Come From
It all started back in the year 2000, when Dan Feiveson, the director of research at the Northern Colorado Business Report, had a vision. He knew that by leveraging technology he could streamline and organize the hectic research process.
Using his technology background, Dan began developing the solution: an Internet-driven relational database system designed specifically for the business journal industry. By 2001, the product had acquired the name DataJoe and was attracting the attention of fellow business journals nationwide.
Over the next few years, DataJoe grew at an amazing pace and added an e-commerce module, which allows DataJoe clients to easily resell their hard-earned data online to the public, adding a valuable new stream of revenue. In 2010, a National Marketplace was launched, bringing together a mega-store of high quality data offerings produced by some of the most prestigious publishers of data products in the world.

Our Team
Dan Feiveson – President
Dan was one of the driving forces behind the creation of DataJoe and still serves as a developer and database guru. In the last decade, Dan has worked on projects ranging from computer modeling of earthquakes to database design for the mortgage-lending industry. However, he has spent the last seven years working closely with business journals and trade publications–initially as a researcher/reporter–then as the director of research with Northern Colorado Business Report. Dan knows research, he knows how to maximize it, and he builds that logic into the DataJoe system.
Jill Conner – General Manager
As General Manager, Jill oversees new product launches and the annual researcher conference. She advises clients as they transition into the system, set up their e-commerce portals or work on advanced projects. With a journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and experience as a news reporter, Jill recognizes the importance of deadlines and maintaining the accuracy of the clients’ data. Combining this experience with more than four years at DataJoe, she offers proficient yet individualized guidance to all clients, no matter where they are at on their DataJoe journey. Jill is also pursuing her Master’s Degree at the University of Colorado-Denver and when not in the office or busy studying she can usually be found in the Rocky Mountains, skiing or hiking (depending on the season) with her 6-year-old son.
Johnny Levy – Sales Manager
Johnny is a gifted teacher, which suits him well in his sales manager role. He manages communication with prospective clients, leads extensive product demonstrations, and manages the sales process from end to end. Johnny is a passionate and enthusiastic communicator, and deeply enjoys his work with people. He has an eye for new markets and creative business solutions.
