Unprecedented, Uncanny, Unlimited Community of DataJoe Users
DataJoe is a community of more than 50 users across North America using the same software program to produce excellent printable lists and directories and digital data products. DataJoe prides itself in supplementing its excellent support by connecting these users through several methods.
All users are invited to participate in the DataJoe Community Forum, where researchers, designers and E-Commerce administrators can speak directly to peers at other publications. Discussions range on a variety of topics including how to market products online, how to best compile a Book of Lists or how to best gather data from outside sources.
Community members are also invited to participate in a Book of Lists exchange, where research and production teams can get ideas from other journals to implement in their own compilation.
Users are also connected through the DataJoe "Case File" sent out quarterly. The "Case File" highlights new DataJoe Clients, company information, system tools and researcher profiles. Community members are also encouraged to submit content!
As new DataJoe features are made available, clients are invited to attend online Webinars and conference calls where they can learn about new tools and discuss with other researchers how to best apply them. In June 2007 in Denver, Colo., DataJoe will also host a series of workshops relating to research in which its clients who are AABP members are invited to attend.
